Pebble, in German „Kiesel“, is a long term project examining the prosaicness of fragments. The starting point was a grey field of pebbles. Through sorting the grey small stones into their respective colors the uniqueness of every single fragment caught my attention. Ever since I am occupied with the question ‘are we together or unique?’. Focusing on the disturbing ‘or’ in this question and while time is passing I accumulate pebble after pebble. „Kiesel“ is to be understood as an assembly of a variety of works looking for kinship between stones and humanity. Fragments being connected to each other while being individual.
